My first award! | 50 Follows, say what? | (I’m a bit late doing this but still) | It’s Celebration time #2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello dear Bloggers and beyond! Welcome to the 2nd Post of 2021!

Yeah, I know, it’s the 6th day of the year and I still can’t get over the fact that 2020 is finally over.

Today, I’ll be doing my very first AWARD!!!!!!! (I’m still pinching myself!), as well as something UTTERLY DANCINGLY AMAZING. That is, celebration for 50 FOLLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 Liebster Award

I was tagged by the brilliant Riddhi over @ Whispering Stories. Do give her blog a follow, I’m sure you’ll love it. Especially if you’re a fellow bookworm.

Here are the rules-

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you
  • Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you
  • Nominate 11 bloggers
  • Ask your nominees 11 questions
  • Notify your 11 nominees

Riddhi’s Questions

1. What is the one thing you cannot tolerate in a book?

When the ending is really crappy. After being invested in the story, you reach the last few pages only to find it ending terribly. Arghh! The disappointment is infinite! Lame plot twists, loose plot threads, hurried or abrupt endings leave you so dissatisfied that you wonder if it was an elaborate joke.

2.What are your hobbies besides blogging?

Reading, writing and photography. I like listening to music too! But does that count as hobby?

3.Some advice for your fellow bloggers

Hang in there! I know being a newbie blogger is EXHAUSTING as hell but as long as you stick with it, you’ll ultimately enjoy! Oh, also, GET OUT THERE. I used to think people will come to my blog if I sit and just quietly post with zero interaction. However, I learnt the lesson the hard way. So, sorry to burst your bubble, but you gotta go out in the community for the community to come to you. Go comment what you think, follow blogs you like! Be a generous blogger!

4.Dogs or Cats? Why?

Ummm…..if I had it my way, it would be neither. WAIT, don’t hate me yet! I’m more of a hamsters, guinea pig person…so yeah. I had a German Shephard called Buzzy (named by me). So if I ever go for a dog. It would be a German Shephard. Cause, you know…nostalgia..

5.If you had to move to some other country for some reason, which country would it be?

Now this friends, is a very difficult question. I’m a traveler at heart (mostly because I was dragged into multiple countries when I was very young so had no other option than to embrace it). I would probably choose New Zealand, as I’ve been there already. And it’s a beautiful country and I love the accent, and I love everything to do with it. Te Papa is like AWESOME.

6.Your Covid experience in 8 words?

Awesome, cool, boring, confusing, typical, frustrating, exciting, alright.

(weird word choice ay? I won’t elaborate this, decode on your own!)

7. Which language do you want to learn completely some day?

I already speak English, obv. And I learnt French last year, Māori I know a bit. Oh yes! I would like to learn Māori properly as well as Hindi (Namaste sounds so elegant). Also, Zayn Malik once posted a Hindi song, which I wanna understand.πŸ˜‚

8. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Extrovert. Like a full-on extrovert. This Covid really wrecked my social life. Really. Murdered it. But I don’t mind staying in with a good book snuggled up in my bed. So I guess I’m 90% extrovert and 10% introvert.

9. When is your birthday?

Ahhhh…. I’m anonymous here so I can’t tell. Although here’s a little hint. It’s a day before a major celebration. Did that help?πŸ˜‚

10. Have you ever read a play by Shakespeare? If yes, which one and did you enjoy reading it? If not, then do you aspire to read one someday?

I haven’t read any Shakespearean literature yet, but I have a feeling my AP Literature teacher will solve that soon. So I’d like to read Hamlet (is is Shakespeare?) and that book Kasie West mentioned *searched up all Shakespeare plays on google* ahh yes, the Taming of the Shrew.

10. Describe yourself in 11 words.

Joyful, optimistic, talkative, random, ambitious, bookworm, broad-minded, extraordinary, resourceful, self-motivated.

Well! That’s all for the award! Now continue on for the 50 follower PARTAY!!

Ah, fREncH. My sister’s taken French as her second language for uni, so she just roams around babbling it to nobody in particular. As an Indian family, we understand exactly 0% of it… LMAO
Hindi!! I do Hindi classes in school… (’tis not fun). But I’m sure you’ll like it!! (:
Also hey fellow extrovert!! I’d say I’m like, a 60% extrovert?? There’s a certain freedom in being alone that nothing else can replicate. I bloody love it.
    Yeup, Hamlet is Shakespeare.
YUSSSSS Me and Best Song Ever are god-tier level music.
(Freaking loved the macaroons. I can eat macaroons for lunch. Or breakfast. Or dinner. They’re marvellous. Loved the fries to XD XD)

I can totally relate with your sisiter! I do that too and my family doesn’t understand it either…
How is Hindi not fun? I’ve heard it’s such an awesome language, one of the oldest right?
Yeah I admit I like my personal space but extrovert me is certainly looking for covid to go!
      I thought so πŸ˜‚
I prefer good ol’ scones and chocolate pie (though I didn’t put them there)

      1. Chocolate pie is really yummy too!! I’ve… never tried a scone so I don’t know lolololol
Well… I mean, if you’re learning it cause you WANT to then I guess it’s fun. But if you’re doing it cause you needed a second language to pass IGCSE (lmao) then it’s not fun. The listening examinations are super difficult, and even the written ones… It’s not the best ):
